The event is for all Four Wheel Drive Jeeps, Gypsy's and CRV's , conducted in Diesel and Petrol category for a distance of approx.35 kms, within the Kaliasot reservoir and surrounding forests for a duration of be approx. 2hour.The route have hazards for the driver, such as- mud patches, water and slushes, uphill and downhill driving, rocky terrain, jungle patches. The participating vehicles should have all safety features such as a hard top, roll bar, seat belts, helmets, etc. for the driver and navigator.
Cash prizes of 2 lakh is distributed among the winners along with other consolation prizes.

Its great that you have been organizing this mud rally for so many years.
I have gone through the state of this affair every year but if you want to contribute actually in the development of bhopal do sonething for the vagabonds which are practicing bike racing on VIP road like devils on bikes killing themselves and other peoples.
I have heard about miracles while i was in bhopal and its the events which you have organized in bhopal was really good.
But you should also do something for the basic
education among bhopalis.
If by your efforts you can change atleast 10% of the attitudes of bhopalis then i think you will atleast get some kind of work satisfaction.
But at last i would like to say that your mud rally is really amazing and adventourous.
